Many people who are feeling depressed will have a lack of motivation however going out and exercising can make a massive difference to how you feel. Once the blood is pumping around your body after a work out you will experience a new lease of life and the days challenges will feel much easier to handle.

You also need to ensure you eat or drink right. Many people like to eat comfort foods when feeling down however these foods will actually contribute to your situation. Fatty foods will make you feel bloated and lacking energy which will obviously make you feel even more depressed.

It is also important that you stay away from alcohol. Having a drink will ease the pain but this will only ever be temporary. You will probably be even worse in the morning and it’s simply not worth it.
